Who knew it would be so difficult to be happy
To the point where you forget what it was like
Laughter eludes you and worrying is a habit
You are a shell of what you used to be once
And life is a series of disappointments galore.
You thought you knew once what you wanted
Gut instinct and intuition served you well
You had the hunger to go on for more
When life came crashing down it all changed…
I am longing for the days when I feel as happy as I felt when this picture was taken…
I will kick this unhappiness and not let it consume me.
The Dutch windmill is located in golden gate park next to the Beach Chalet and stands tall at about 75 feet into the air. The windmill was originally constructed (in 1902) to pump water to irrigate the Golden Gate Park but by 1913 electrical motors were introduced and these two windmills became obsolete and fell into disrepair. L
In 1981, after a 5-year restoration, the arms were able to move once again on the structure, but water no longer pumped through.
I’ve never been to this part of the park before. It was so serene and peaceful. I loved coming here but most of I loved laying on the middle bench my head resting on his last as I listened to him talk.
It was heavenly and didn’t think it could get better than this… until I found out what else he had planned.
